Rules
Judges will award prizes for the Best Overall Ride, a Bowl Blow Out & the Big Air Competition.*
Open to males and females of all ages and abilities in three categories:
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
All competitors begin with a 15 minute run. Scores will be tallied and eliminations will be announced. Remaining competitors ride for another 12 minutes. New scores will be tallied and the final elimination round will be announced. The final run will last 6 minutes for the top competitors. The best score will be announced as the winner!
Competitors will be judged and awarded points based on:
+ Degree of Difficulty and Execution of Tricks
+ Continuity of Run
+ Originality and Style
+ Amplitude (Height of Airs, Length of Grinds and Use of Ramp)
+ Variety of Tricks Successfully Performed
+ Fluid Linking of Individual Tricks
+ Use of Course and Course Obstacles
Judges rank skaters 1-10 to reveal the Top 3 competitors in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Winners and Prizes will be announced at the end of the Advanced run.
*The Bowl Blowout is open to Intermediate and Advanced competitors only.
